The combustion boat is made of 99.8% pure aluminum oxide. Highly resistant to the effects of chemicals, the boat is ideal for chemists, metallurgists, and others who are involved in high-temperature work and need contamination-free results.
Recommended for use with refractory metals such as molybdenum, platinum, rhodium, tungsten, tantalum, and iridium. Meant for use in reducing and oxidizing atmospheres. The combustion boat is suitable for glass melting, including borosilicate glass.
