Labconco Purifier® Vertical Clean Bench with Airflow Monitor, 6-Ft Wide; 230V

Purifier vertical clean benches with a 99.99% efficient HEPA filter provide ISO Class 5 conditions to protect your samples from particulate contamination. The room air is drawn downward through a prefilter to trap large particles, forced through a blower, filtered through a HEPA filter, then sent downward over the work area.

Variable speed blower with solid state control can be adjusted to extend filter life. Fluorescent lamp located above the work area and out of contact with the filtered air provides glare-free lighting. The blower and light switches are located conveniently within easy reach. The front-mounted differential pressure gauge helps determine when to replace the HEPA filter by monitoring the total system pressure across the HEPA filter and pressurized plenum.

The UV-opaque, UV-resistant, 1/4"-thick tempered safety glass sash with 10° slope offers maximum visibility, less glare, and more comfortable viewing to minimize operator fatigue. Easily pivot sash upward to open and lock for loading and cleaning. Pass tubing and electrical cords through the two utility ports with iris openings; seal ports with plugs (included) when not in use. Glacier white and gray powder-coated aluminum and steel construction provides excellent durability.

Continuously monitor the airflow to ensure airflow velocity. A visual alarm (green or red LED) along with an audible alarm alert the user to low airflow conditions.

The Purifier Vertical Clean Bench should never be used with biohazardous materials, toxins, acids, or radionuclides. Air from the work area is dispersed directly into the laboratory from the Clean Bench.
