More About this Item
Providing value without compromise, Oakton® EcoTestr™ 1 Series waterproof testers are easy to use and read. The large, dual-line LCD provides measurement and temperature information, as well as current battery life. The two-button interface allows for simple navigation of the meter menus and quick sample measurement. Designed to float in water, they are ideal for field testing applications such as lakes and streams – you can even attach a line to the housing for easy retrieval.
Additional features include a long-lasting durable electrode with polymer reference electrolyte; status icons for measurement stability, calibration, and battery life; and self-diagnostics. The leakproof cap with fill line functions as a sample/calibration and hydrating cup. The tester, powered by four AAA batteries, can operate for up to 400 hours continuously. The unit will auto power-off after 8 minutes of nonuse to conserve power.
The Oakton EcoTestr CTS1 product line makes measuring water quality easier and faster. The large, dual-line LCD display has indicators for battery life, readiness, and calibration, and shows both the parameter and temperature readings at the same time. This pocket tester takes two auto points for EC calibration: 1410 (1413), and 12.9mS (12,880). For auto measurement ranges of 0-200 uS, 200-2000 uS, and 2 - 20 mS.
To enhance field use, the cap was redesigned to be leakproof and can be attached to the top of the meter when not being used—no more lost caps! The cap features a fill line, so you know how much sample you need for an accurate reading when using the cap as a sample cup. It is also wider, providing a base to keep the meter upright for hands-free measurements.
The four-button keypad simplifies menu navigation while keeping convenient one-touch calibration. Designed to float in water, they are ideal for field testing applications such as lakes and streams – you can even attach a lanyard to the housing for easy retrieval.
