Sterile, single-use bags and liners meet your most demanding bioprocessing applications—they offering outstanding biocompatibility, chemical compatibility, and barrier and strength properties. The collapsible design minimizes the risk of cross-contamination and reduces cleaning and turnaround time. Typical applications include raw material storage, media hydration/preparation, and intermediate or final product hold.
Multilayer film structure is optimized for bioprocess applications. Film materials are consistent throughout the product range; with low-density polyethylene (LDPE) as the fluid contact material, ethyl vinyl alcohol (EVOH) as the gas barrier layer, and a nylon outer layer. Products are certified to be free of animal-derived components and pass USP Class VI medical-grade testing.
Containers maintain integrity at temperatures ranging from –80 to 60°, making them suitable for packaging, ambient, and cryogenic storage of a variety of liquids including media, buffers, process liquids, and biological products. Sterilized by gamma radiation, ports are capped and covered, and systems are double-bagged for integrity.
Choose from three- and four-port bags, from 50 to 500 liters, and either cylindrical or rectangular shape. The four-port bags feature a bottom port to allow for mixing and recirculation through the utilization of a dip tube. One port acts as a needle-free, female luer sampling port, and all others feature MPX-series quick-disconnect insert (male) fittings.
Open liners for cylindrical tanks reduce delays due to unavailability of clean tanks or drums—you save money by cutting labor costs and eliminating the need for expensive equipment or dedicated tanks and drums. Ready for immediate use; sterile and pyrogen-free.
