BRAND® BIO-CERT® PCR Tubes with Caps

Reduce evaporation losses with tightly closing cap strips

BRAND® individual PCR tubes and 8-strip PCR tubes feature extra thin-walls to ensure optimum heat transfer during PCR, for shorter cycle times over a wide range of temperatures. To prevent sample losses from heating, caps reliably seal the vessels with their tight fit. This ensures quality and repeatable results even with small sample volumes. At the same time, the caps can be opened and closed with ease. Domed caps allow for extra sealing pressure via the lid of the thermal cycler and flat caps are required for qPCR applications. Attached cap strips can be easily opened and closed with one hand, while separate caps are especially suitable for automation, as they won't obstruct robotics.

No matter which cap you choose, all variants seal the vessels reliably, effectively protecting your samples from evaporation and contamination. Tubes are available in several colors, allowing easy sample tracking at a glance.
