Measure pressure of rapidly flowing and high-temperature media
Inline seal meets 3A criteria for sanitary applications
Suitable for clean-in-place (CIP)
Inline seals enable measurement of pressure without contamination of media. Inline seals are intended for hygienic, rapidly flowing corrosive, contaminated, hot, or light to medium viscous pressure media. The seal contains a cylindrical diaphragm that avoids any interruptions with the process flow and can measure pressure via gauge or transmitter, enabling user to have either local or remote output. Process connection of inline seal is available in 3/4,1,1 1/2 and 2" size Tri-Clamp®. Other process connection sizes are available; call an Application Specialist for information. Diaphragm seal, sanitary gauge, and transmitter all have 316 stainless steel wetted parts. Pressure measurement instruments are installed at the factory. Pressure Gauges have a 2 1/2" dial with bottom-mount instrument connection to seal and have a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube. Case is 304 stainless steel. Pressure Transmitters are NEMA 4X rated for washdown and corrosive environments. Body material is 304 stainless steel. Internal electronics are 100% potted in epoxy casting resin.
